I am a swan reborn from life's experiences
I wonder what others think of me
I hear the thoughts running through the minds of others
I see the inner thoughts and souls that dwell in their hearts
I want to rid the world of pain and hatred
I am a swan reborn from life's experiences
I pretend to have my life under control
I feel the shadow of failure biting me
I touch the memories of my dark past
I worry that those memories will take full control
I cry when my heart is shattered
I am a swan reborn from life's experiences
I remember discovering the beauty within me
I fear the evil that shadowed it from all recognition
I laugh when I thought I would never make it
I would never make it through
I smell the freedom released when my beauty took control
I search for the reason I was made to suffer
I am a swan reborn from life's experiences
I understand that life is never easy for anyone
I say, "Reach out and dare to dream."
I dream of flying over the world free
I try to say and believe in what I have become
I hope for the world to accept who a person is inside
