"Hot Bread" by Paulyn

The best tasting bread I've tasted
Made only on Molokai.
Most know it as Molokai bread,
but the locals call it hot bread.
As I walked into the bakery,
the sweet smell lingered in the air
and filled my nose.
My mouth watered.
We ordered a loaf with cream cheese and jelly,
spread across the bread and cut sideways.
It dripped off the edge of the bread
As I bit into a piece of hot bread,
It melted into my mouth.
A warm sensation filled my body.
My hunger finally satisfied.
