"Grandpa" by Sheryl

Although we hardly spend time together,
I know that he is someone who will always
be there for me. He's the one who I
can go to even when I make wrong decisions.
He's the one I can always go to
when I'm hungry.
He'll always cook me food
and he's the best cook I know.
He's known for his bibinka and ros cal do.
He likes to go out in style with his aloha shirts
he collects from his grandchildren throughout
Christmas. He always finds
time to take me places if I ever need a ride.
He's the only person I know who keeps
lucky leaves in his pocket
when he goes to Las Vegas
and his occasional chicken fights.
He never misses his Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune.
I am thankful for all that my
grandpa has done for me.
I love my grandpa.
