This is an image composed of three separate stamps: The large parrot, the small parrot and the text "Eraser Art". I spent a total of about 8 hours of carving time to make those three stamps. The large parrot was my most ambitous carving to date. This work was produced for the Swapzine, a black and white quarterly zine produced by members of the Carving Consortium.

As the size of a stamp grows, the methods of printing must be changed. What I did to produce very acceptable images of ATC-sized stamps did not work so well with a stamp the size of the large parrot. I had to spend much more time both in the inking and in the holding the stamp against the paper.
