This is a set of 8 individual stamps that I created for the "Glimpse of You" swap (Carving Consortium, Aug2003, Kerrin Conrad host). They symbolize different aspects of me and I used them as charms in a charm bracklet composition. I then wrote some poetic-ish verse to go along with it. I may put the full piece on the ART page of this site.

Since these were so small, they were done almost entirely with a hobby knife. I want to express my deepest thanks and appreciation to MJ Hooper who sent me the the Marscarve I used for these stamps. It has a very smooth, buttery testure that is a pleasure to feel the blade slide through. However, I felt it would be a much better media when using gouges then when using the knife. It is so soft that it tended to 'bend' away from the blade as I manuvered in tight areas.
