This is the first stamp I carved since I was 8 or 9 years old. As you can see, I broke one of the cardinal rules of stamp carving... Make Sure It's Reversed! The image on the left was an early test before I even had a stamp pad (I tried to use watercolor paint as ink). The middle version was before I played with "leaves" on the tree. The version on the right was the "final" version. The intent was to use this as a personal signature for our letterboxing adventures. Since it's backwards, I'll just call it an "education."
