Another in my "Woman's Face" series. I love the very strong graphic quality of these portraits. I obtained the original picture from an Internet NewsGroup and there was no source noted. It actually was an extreme closeup of the super-model Claudia Shiffer. I spent about an hour in image preparation and 1.1 hours carving it. The laser image was heat-transfered to the Saftey-Kut and carved with gouges and a hobby knife.
This image was used in my first RAPLICA page (Jan2004 entitled "Faces").
