Another in my "Woman's Face" series. I love the very strong graphic quality of these portraits. I obtained the original picture from an Internet NewsGroup and there was no source noted. The model was almost laughing in the photo, but only seems to have a gentle smile in the carve. I spent about an hour in image preparation and about 1.3 hours carving it. The laser image was heat-transfered to the Saftey-Kut and carved with gouges and a hobby knife.
This image was used in my first RAPLICA page (Jan2004 entitled "Faces").
